Discover joy through craft, nature,
and shared moments.

About  Me

Island CraftWorks opened its doors in January 2023,

but the journey to get here has been full of unexpected growth and discovery.

I grew up in a creative household in Brooklyn, in a purple-door brownstone surrounded by art, galleries, and museums. Summers were filled with arts and crafts at camp — painting, tie-dye, friendship bracelets, and nature-inspired projects — all sparking a lifelong curiosity and love of making.

Those early experiences planted the seeds for a life guided by creativity, curiosity, and the joy of making — a path that would eventually take me across the ocean to the Isle of Wight, through joy, loss, and unexpected new beginnings.

I moved to the Isle of Wight in 2009, inspired daily by the sea, the seasons, and the island’s beauty. In March 2020, I lost my husband, and life felt fragile. With the support of friends, the grounding presence of nature, and love returning into my life a year later, I discovered the strength to keep moving forward.

Teaching small craft sessions on the beach and in the park became a lifeline, sparking joy, connection, and renewed purpose —

and inspiring the vision that would become Island CraftWorks.

Inspired by nature, shaped by experience,
and built on connection.

I share my workshops to spark creativity, inspire curiosity, and empower people to explore and express themselves.
